Yes. Alpha Lite was designed specifically for entry-level simmers. It focuses on the core controls you need to start flying, without overwhelming extras — making it the perfect first step into flight simulation.
No. Alpha Lite connects directly to your PC or Mac and works with major simulators out of the box. You can always add a throttle or rudder pedals later, but they aren’t required to begin flying.
Alpha Lite is compatible with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, X-Plane 11/12, and Prepar3D. It also supports macOS with X-Plane.
Alpha Lite is a streamlined, beginner-friendly version of our flagship Alpha yoke. It keeps the same Honeycomb build quality, but offers fewer switches and a simpler design. The original Alpha adds a full switch panel, ignition, and more advanced features for experienced simmers.
No. Alpha Lite is a yoke only. For throttle controls, you can add the Bravo Throttle Quadrant or pair with other Honeycomb products as you grow your setup.
