Works great. Need an update for MSFS2024 in order for the LEDs to work. Would definitely purchase again.

In my review of the Alpha yoke, I mentioned that I was excited to try the Bravo. And, oh boy, did I have every right to be.

Just to clarify everything up front. I exclusively fly the Cessna 172 G1000 on X-Plane 12 on my Fedora 44 KDE desktop (Linux).

One thing that I was unaware of when I got this throttle unit for my setup was the need for a plugin to make everything work (All the lighting for the AP panel and annunciator panel plus the functions for the knobs and buttons on the AP panel) I used the plugin from Isaac Gelado. After setting everything up (which was pretty easy), it all worked beautifully. But the Isaac Gelado plugin only covers a handful of aircraft, none of which are RG aircraft, so I cannot verify the function of the landing gear indicator lights.

That being said, I am absolutely smitten. I am actually in love with the Bravo. All of the features this thing comes with for only $300 are absolutely rock solid. The AP panel is stellar, the annunciator panel is really cool, the switches are great, the trim wheel is fantastic, the throttle axes and tension knob are incredible, the GA and commercial levers it comes with are nice, the build quality is acceptable, the mount is magnificent.

If I had to gripe about something, it would be the trim wheel. It's extremely precise, meaning you have to spin the hell out of that thing before you actually notice a change in trim, but that might just be an issue with the software I'm using. The most recent flight I did, I was trimming my aircraft for approach when something happened. I really should have used the trim switches on the Alpha, but the trim wheel is so fun to use. So I was cranking that trim wheel something fierce, when the sound and feel changed suddenly. It's hard to describe, but the whirring noise that the trim whell makes when spinning it super fast almost disappeared completely, and the friction increased slightly. It still works, but not as well. I don't know what I broke exactly, but I broke something. The lesson I learned was to not abuse the trim wheel so much. But I think it could have been built a little better. I know I'm nitpicking a throttle that has a lot of features for its price, but I would have payed an extra $50 for some more quality.

Aside from breaking the trim wheel, this thing is an absolute unit for the price. It's legitimately a really cool piece of gear. I highly recommend it because there just isn't anything else like it.

Already own one which I really like. This new one is for a second computer.

Good, but config to msfs 2024 is middle, it can be better. Quality is very good.
